It’s amazing how fast it warms up in spring. We don’t need a jacket or even a sweater to go down into the cellar. Let’s go. I can’t wait to see what we come up with this time.
The Famous Phrase box is tempting me. You pick. Aha! “That really gets under my skin.” Well, we’ve all had someone or something that gets under our skin. That phrase means someone or something that is irritating, pesky, or annoying. Often it’s hard to ignore whatever is bothering you.
I bet a lot of kids can relate to having a younger brother or sister who pesters them. Or maybe a teacher. Even at times a parent or adult they love can still be irritating.
However, this Famous Phrase can also be positive. For example, maybe there’s a song you like and you can’t get it off your mind, because the tune is “under your skin.” Maybe there’s a classmate that you think is cute or funny or smart, and that person gets “under your skin,” but in a good way.

We have THREE layers of skin that actually do amazing things. Most of us don’t even think about all the work our skin performs.
