It’s not always easy to follow your heart. Sometimes people don’t think you can do what you dream about. Or maybe they think your choice is silly or not wise. You have to be strong and believe in yourself. If you don’t follow your heart, you may regret it.
My heart’s desire is to have at least one children’s book published. I’ve toiled on one fiction manuscript for a few years, writing and rewriting it as I both learn and improve my skills. Now I’m submitting that manuscript to agents who can help me get it published into a real children’s novel. This hasn’t been easy, but it’s been in my heart most of my life. I’m also writing a nonfiction manuscript and I have an idea for a picture book. Wish me luck!
