Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy the activities, videos and original stories. Share them with your friends. Your teachers, parents and other adults can use these, too. It’s free fun and safe. I started this website because I love writing for and communicating with kids like you.
You can send me your poems, songs, stories or comments by using the comments box on the Zeller Storyteller posts. I look forward to hearing from you.

Bio Bits
Words: I’ve always loved words. I started writing and directing plays at age ten and always “starred” in the plays along with my neighborhood friends. We had so much fun!
School: My favorite subjects were English, journalism and chemistry. I’m a “mad” scientist. I love making my own lotions and potions
Jobs: My parents owned an Italian market. The entire family worked there. I know the names of many shapes of pasta. After college I had lots of different jobs, each requiring writing skills
Farfalle (butterflies or bow ties)
What I’ve written: I’ve completed a children’s historical manuscript, and I hope to have it published. It would be my first novel. Cross your fingers for me, please! Here’s the storyline: Eleven-year-old Patty hates wearing dresses, abandons her one and only doll, gets scars from her dare-devil bicycle antics and likens everyone to an animal. Sometimes her images aren’t so nice. She longs to be a veterinarian at a time when only men are and challenges every anti-female tradition. Her biggest fear is that she’ll end up a boring housewife like her mother. Then she discovers a secret which changes everything she thought she knew about her mom.
What I read: I’ve read at least 70 kids’ books, mostly for ages eight to twelve and some Young Adult ones, too. My favorite ones are on my Pinterest page.
Kid time: I volunteered for eleven years at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff doing tours and kids’ programs. My favorite was dinosaurs. I was a Big Sister for seven years, and I helped first graders learn to read at a local school
Writing groups: I’m a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) and a local critique group. These help me be a better writer. It’s like going to school without having to do homework. Yippee!
Where in the world I’ve traveled: Cities along the Danube River from Budapest to Nuremberg, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, the Great Wall of China, Italy, Sicily, Australia, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, England, Amsterdam, Canada, and many states within the United States. I live near the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world
