No Rain on Your Parade

Person playing trumpetEverybody has a parade. Usually, it’s a dream in your head. Something you wish for either now or in your future. There may be someone who tells you that you can’t have your wish or you’ll never be able to meet your goal. You can politely tell them, “Don’t rain on my parade.”

You can wear your bucket hat to avoid that person’s negative remarks. If you don’t have a bucket hat, pretend that you do. Maybe they’re jealous. Or maybe they’re a wet blanket. Check out the Cellar page for what that means.

Put on your bucket hat and listen to your own dreams, music, goals and carry on. Leave the wet blanket behind.

Think time questions

What is your parade?

Dream?  Goal? How will you avoid the “wet blankets” in your life?
