What are you thankful for?

giving-thanks

This picture summarizes many of the things for which we can be grateful. Everything else is basically “gravy,” not the kind we pour on our mashed potatoes, but all the extra comforts and benefits we have. Some things we might take for granted and forget to be thankful for are having a bicycle, skate board or other way to get around. We probably take for granted our TVs, video games and the internet. We expect all of those to work all the time, like our appliances and lights that depend on electricity or the car or school bus that takes us places.

We can be thankful for all the good people in our lives, the everyday comforts of home and school, and all the conveniences that make life easy and fun.

  1. I’m really grateful for my husband and daughter and son-in-law. I’m also grateful for a large family of cousins! We grew up together and still like (and love) each other!

    1. Linda,

You are truly blessed to have all of these wonderful people in your life and for such a long time.

    1. Dear Paula,

I agree and it’s the reason that I chose the pumpkin graphic. You are one of my long-time friends which I cherish. And yes, we love good food!
