Zeller Cellar Word Fun #21

It’s February and a leap year. Let’s leap down to the cellar. We haven’t picked from the Famous Phrases box for a while. You reach in that one and see what you come up with.

“Two heads are better than one.”  This famous phrase comes from hundreds of years ago and became common in the English language. It means when two people work on a problem, they have twice the brain power. We can often solve a problem easier when we get someone to help us. We don’t have to do everything by ourselves. We can ask for help.

Also, if we see someone who seems to be struggling, we can say, “May I help you?” or “Would you like some help?”

This is true no matter how old we are. Young kids, older kids, adults. Everybody needs help at times. The brain is an amazing part of our body. It works non-stop.

Fun things to do

Watch this short video about the parts of the brain. It includes two challenge questions at the end. See if your brain gets the correct answers.
